End-of-Year Message from NBFT President, Elizabeth Lynch

As we come to the end of a very long and difficult year I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for allowing me to be the President of the North Bergen Federation of Teachers. This has been a difficult year as we were all working without a contract. But I must say that I was never prouder of representing you than at the NB Board meeting in February when over 250 of you showed your support for the union and your displeasure with the Board. It was because of your show of force that we were able to successfully finish negotiating our contract. I look forward to continuing to represent you in the upcoming 2017-2018 school year.
