Nick Yovnello Social Justice Scholarship Awards Brunch

The AFTNJ's Committee On Political Education (COPE) presented the first Nick Yovnello Social Justice Scholarship to Corinne Reilly-Ferretto, a student activist from New Jersey City University. The North Bergen Federation of Teachers joined the Nick Yovnello Social Justice Scholarship Awards Brunch on Sunday, September 27, 2015. Nick Yovnello was a Union Activist who passed away earlier this year. AFTNJ President, Donna Chiera, reminded all that Union Leaders in the District and State are only as strong as the Union that supports them.

The brunch took place at the Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
